I have liked Bobby Hurley ever since I first saw him playing for Duke in his early years. I hadn't seen anything about him in quite some time so I was delighted to see this page about him. Keep up the good work!!

Bobby Hurley has been my favorite basketball player since he was a freshman at Duke. His drive and determination gave a lot to be admired. I think Hurley's true determination shined every day after his car accident. Though he isn't the same player now, he has more heart and more pride than ever before and it shows every time he steps on the court. In my eyes, Bobby Hurley is the most admirable player in the NBA and even though the numbers may not show it, he's a true all-star in my book!

Bobby Hurley is my favorite.I liked the way he plays and I hope on day, he will once again reach his potental like at Duke.I don't like how Tyus Edney came from UCLA and took Hurley's position. I am looking for stats and pictures of him.I am also looking for autographs. If you have any or know of any one who does, contact me at my e-mail addres above.

Besides being my favorite basketball player, Bobby Hurley, is a basketball player who still has a lot of potential to be a star in the NBA. I have followed and cheered for Bobby since his first year of at Duke and continue to enjoy the Blue Devil Tradition. Over the years I have collected a college , and two of Bobby's pro jerseys. As well I have read his father's biography a number of times.(Any Bobby fan should read it) Unfortunetly, up here in Canada the chances of meeting or even seeing Bobby is rare, but I'll continue to cheer for him for the rest of my life.

Bobby you're so great! Keep it up! I've read you're father's biography (Divided Loyalties), it gave alot of stuff about you that I thought was pretty interesting. Please write to me, if you can, (RT.1 Box 284,Greenville, NC 27834). And if any of you Bobby Hurley fans have something to talk about, write to me. Stay cool.

From the chants HUR-LEY HUR-LEY to the pounding of the courts at Cameron Indoor, Bobby Hurley represented what Duke basketball was all about. His fiery intensity led Duke to two championships, and he will always be my favorite Duke player of all time, and one of Duke's finest.

I think Bobby Hurley is cool. I'll never forget how he handled the the trash-talking Fab Five or his last collegiate game when he had 32 points.

Bobby Hurley showed the world that there is a lot more to being and all-star than numbers and awards. He is one of the people I admire most because he proved that attitude is indeed everythin...and to never ever give up. Thanck-you for being a true hero.

I watched DUKE for many years before Bobby showed up and instantly, he became my favorite palyer. He remains my favorite to this day. I have on tape every game he played at DUKE and that isn't enough! He is just so great. I can not wait until Feb. 25th when I get to see him play in Boston. I just hope his injury has healed by then. Email me if you wish, it is always great to talk about Bobby with people who know!

Bobby Hurley means a great deal to me. He is a true inspiration to everyone. I watched him from the very first day that he stepped on the court at Duke. I gave a speech on him in High School one year and I played the song Hero by Mariah Carey because in my opinion the song is totally fit for him. He is my HERO.

Bobby Hurley is my idol and always will be. As most Hurley fans, my devotion began when he played at Duke. I remember the first time I saw him on telelvision, I was mezmorized. And from then on, he has been my hero. People always tease my about that, but it doesn't bother me because I know how great Bobby is. So he may not be Michael Jordan....... but he's a great b ball player who will always be number one to me. It was really exciting to me when I went to the Delta Center to see him play against the Jazz. I was all the way at the top and Bobby only got to play for a few moments, but my eyes were on him the whole time. The greatest moment in my life so far has been when I received an autographed card in the mail from him. If you ever read this Bobby, thanks so much and keep up the good work.

Bobby was the greatest point guard to ever play college b-ball. I hope that one of those NBA teams that need a point guard (and most of them do),will look no further than him. If one of them would give him the ball and let him run their team only greatness will follow!!!

Not only was he a member of the best back to back NCAA National Championship team ever, Bobby Hurley was and will most likely be forever the best Point Guard in college basketball history. The guy could flat out play. Yeah he didn't average 20 points and the guy could dunk about as could as Steve Kerr, but look at what he did. 1000 and some assists, that says it all. He was the last TRUE POINT GUARD to bless us by playing four years of college basketball. Now days no one sticks around long enough to be great like he was. That is why he will be the greatest NCAA PG ever, no one will stay around long enough to even compete with his assist record. THANK YOU BOBBY HURLEY for everything you did to improve the college game, you are a true legend and I will never forget you. DUKE FOR LIFE Brady

Bobby Hurley you suck! Duke sucks and your driving skills suck! UNC is back and you will all learn the name Raymond Felton very soon. Duke's days are over. UNC is back at the top where we belong and will always be!

To "GoHeels" - Your message on this board was very cruel and stupid; obviously a reflection of your quality of life. Bobby Hurley has accomplished a lot in his career, even though he wasn't the same after the accident and retired later. Not many people even get the opportunity to play in the pros. As for your Heels, stick a fork in them, they are done.

I keep a card of Bobby Hurley in my wallet. It's more of a symbol of devotion and always trying than anything else. Larry Bird is my childhood sports hero but Hurley falls along the same lines as far as a leader who played the game out of love for the game.

Presently, Mike Bibby most reminds me of him. Being in the same position for the same team is just one reason, but his heart and soul reflected on the court is an outward sign. Being a fan since the early Duke days, I appreciate his determination and talents. The skills he once possessed will remain a distant memory and I can only wish him happiness presently. GO KINGS!!!!! ANY SACRAMENTO KINGS FANS, PLEASE E-MAIL.
