Hello, I was hoping to ask for someone to return my inquiry about the student life at Meredith College. For example what is the general atmosphere of the school. If a student could answer my query that would be very much appriciated. Thank you, Meredith Becker

Meredith College's Suzanna Britta wrote a column in Sky Magazine on Latin as a language. It was clever, funny and brought back many memories for me. I took Latin for four years in high school and loved the experience. Call me crazy. Anyhow, I wanted to pass on to her my appreciation for a great article. It smoothed the many miles I flew. I also am a graduate of Meredith, and I also love Meredith dearly. I do prefer that it is called a women's college rather than a "girl's school." Meredith has a lot to offer academically, socially, physically, and "funly". It is a fabulous place, and I hope that you give it a chance.

Any alumni looking for contacts should contact the Alumnae office on Meredith College's campus. They would be glad to help. There is also a directory that will be published this year of all the graduates.

I went to Meredith when I was 29 and a mother of 3 (they were 8, 6 and 3 at the time). Meredith helped me to organize my classes around my kids and work so that I only had to go in either M, W, F or T, Th each semester. They were awesome. I really didn't have a lot of academic excellence to help my college career, but Meredith took me on a probation status and helped my get into grad school. I just graduated from Duke with a Master. I wouldn't have been able to do a lot of the things I've done if Meredith hadn't helped me along at that time in my life.
